It worked like an absolute dream and we can’t wait to take the new Build Mode integrated version of the T.O.O.L Mod for a full spin. The Sims 4 Extreme Violence Mod adds a brutal new feature to the classic life simulation game. Objects snapping to the terrain and moving into place is far less cumbersome compared to the current version of the T.O.O.L Mod which only works in Sims 4 Live Mode.įor the cover image of this article, we quickly added a riverboat to the ocean in San Myshuno, building from a non-residential lot. This might be only a Release Candidate version of the mod, but it already feels like it is running much slicker in Build Mode. We thought we’d give it a quick whirl before doing this write up with an extended version to follow once the final version rolls out. In order for this to work, you must also be using TwistedMexi’s Better BuildBuy mod (which we highly recommend anyway). The Release Candidate version that allows for the T.O.O.L Mod’s integration with Build Mode is currently only available through Early Access on TwisedMexi’s Patreon page. An upcoming release of the T.O.O.L Mod makes it possible to use it in Build mode, too.

With the T.O.O.L Mod for The Sims 4, you can edit the exterior of apartments – meaning you can change windows, doors (still retaining their functionality) – and take the sizing up and down of objects to levels way beyond what the standard resize options of the game allows. If you are not familiar with the mod, its longer name is Take Objects Off Lot (T.O.O.L) – and it allows builders to just that and so much more. The Sims 4 T.O.O.L Mod by TwistedMexi is one of the most powerful tools in any builder’s arsenal.
